Inviting teachers to the portal
Updated Oct 9, 2026
For studio ownersTeachers get their own portal — their calendar, their students, coverage, and messages — but first you have to add them and send an invitation.
Adding a teacher
During onboarding, add teachers in the Staff step. Afterwards, manage them under Admin → Teachers in the studio sidebar.
Enter the teacher's name and email address — the email is what their portal login will be tied to, so use the address they actually check.
Set their buffer minutes (0–480, default 60): the minimum gap the scheduler keeps between their lessons. A teacher who needs travel or reset time between students gets a bigger buffer.
Sending the invitation
From the teachers list under Admin → Teachers, open the row's menu and choose Send invitation. The teacher receives an invitation email in your studio's name; following it creates their login and drops them straight into the teacher portal. Their row shows Invited until they accept, and the same menu offers Re-send invitation if the email gets lost.
What teachers can and cannot see
Their own lessons, students, and messages — nothing from other teachers' rosters.
No access to studio billing, documents, settings, or reports.
Teachers can be scheduled before they have accepted their invitation — the invite only affects portal access, not scheduling.
A teacher's buffer can be changed later from the teacher's own page under Admin → Teachers, and teachers can set it themselves along with their weekly hours.
